The Japanese House floored us with her debut song 'Still' a couple of weeks back. The producer/vocalist behind the project, Amber Bain, proves the alchemy struck upon with her first track was no fluke today with 'Pools To Bathe In', the lead track from her debut EP of the same name, out on Dirty Hit next month. It's fully in keeping with the esoteric ocean imagery Amber has shrouded her work in so far, with foamy splashes of acoustic guitar, cascading vocoder melodies and hypnotically drawling synths combining to give the effect of a being lost afloat at night, and totally resigned to a beautiful, poetic fate. - DC
